Driver Died Crashing into White House Barrier

Washington, D.C. - A driver has died after crashing into a security barrier near the White House on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. at an outer perimeter gate of the White House complex.
According to authorities, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into the gate. The driver, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured in the incident.
The Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the incident. The area around the White House has been temporarily closed while the investigation is underway.
This is not the first time a vehicle has crashed into a White House barrier. In 2016, a man crashed his car into a gate on the North Lawn of the White House. The man was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including destruction of government property.
