Luis Enrique masterminds Barcelona's Champions League exit

Ousmane Dembélé shines on his return to Camp Nou

PSG advance with a 6-4 aggregate victory

Luis Enrique returned to Barcelona with a vengeance as his Paris Saint-Germain side knocked the Catalan giants out of the Champions League on Tuesday night. PSG beat Barcelona 6-4 on aggregate after a 4-2 win at Camp Nou, with Kylian Mbappé scoring a hat-trick for the visitors. Ousmane Dembélé, who was playing against his former club for the first time since leaving in 2017, scored a brace for Barcelona, but it was not enough to prevent them from crashing out of the competition.

PSG took the lead in the first half through Neymar, but Barcelona leveled through Dembélé just before half-time. Mbappé restored PSG's lead early in the second half, and the French side then took control of the game. Barcelona were reduced to 10 men when Gerard Piqué was sent off for a second bookable offense, and PSG took full advantage. Mbappé scored two more goals to put the game beyond reach, and Moise Kean added a fourth in the dying minutes.

The result is a huge blow to Barcelona, who were hoping to win the Champions League for the first time since 2015. It is also a major boost for PSG, who are now one of the favorites to win the competition this season. Lionel Messi played his final Champions League game for Barcelona as he will be leaving the club this summer his future is uncertain.
